Regulations on the Use of Public Kitchen in International Student Apartments

(Trial Implementation)

In order to create a safe, hygienic and convenient living environment for international students, rules are hereby formulated to further standardize the management of public kitchens and improve the efficient use of public kitchens:

Article 1 Public kitchen is the public place of the international student apartment, which is only for international students who live in the apartment.

Article 2 The public kitchen adopts the cleaning duty system, the person on duty should be selected byboardersthemselves and held by turns. Student on duty also has the right and obligation toremind all kitchen users to comply with relevant regulations and maintain the safety. In case of any safety and health accident caused by theslackness, negligence or shielding, the personnel on duty should bear jointliability.

Article 3 It is strictly prohibited to use oil, alcohol, liquefied gas and other open fire fuels.

Article 4 Dangerous goods and articles irrelevant to cooking are strictly prohibited to place.

Article 5 Personal high-power electrical appliances, such aselectric baking pans, ovens, etc are strictly prohibited to use.

Article 6 It is strictly prohibited to use electricity illegally in the kitchen, such as pulling and connecting wiring boardsat random.

Article 7 It is forbidden to throw leftovers andsundriesat will.

Article 8 It is strictly forbidden to pour leftovers and sundries into thesink. If theseweris blocked, the actor should be responsible for dredging or bear the cost of dredging.

Article 9 No smoking, drinking and noise in the kitchen.

Article 10 Please keep the kitchen clean consciously. Users should clean the cooking hearth, sink, table and floor, and put the garbage into the garbage bin.

Article 11 Please take care of your own belongings and do not occupy the public space. Personal belongings which are left in the public space will be treated as waste and be disposed.

Article 12 Please take care of all the facilities and equipment in the kitchen and use them in accordance with the operatinginstructionsstrictly. Do not move, disassemble, refit or occupy them for personal use without permission.

Article 13 Please save water and electricity. Turn off thetap and switchin time.

Article 14 When there is something wrong with the equipment in the kitchen, please report for repair timely so as to maintain normal use. In case of man-made damage, please deal with the repair problem by yourself or replace equivalent equipment and facilities.

Article 15 Violators who do not obey these regulations will be criticized and educated or disciplined according to the specific circumstances. The ones who receive criticism and education repeatedly and do not change will be given a heavierpunishment.

According to the Article 26, Chapter fourofInternational Student Accommodation Management Measures in NAU, international students who have gotdemerit recordingsor above can be canceled the accommodation qualification.

The Chinese version of this regulation shall prevail and will be executed from the date of publication. It is to be interpreted by the College of International Education and the Logistics Group of Nanjing Agricultural University.
