On January 24, 2018, the Nanjing Municipal Public Security Bureau held a meeting on the entry and exit management of foreign students at colleges and universities in Nanjing at the Nanjing University of Science and Technology. The meeting summed up the work experience of 2017 and honored advanced units and advanced individuals. Ten universities, including our university joining Nanjing University, Southeast University and Nanjing University of Information Engineering and so on have been awarded advanced units. Cheng Weihua, Program Director for foreign students at the College of International Education, has been awarded the title of “advanced individual for foreign students entry and exit management in 2017”.
At the Meeting, Wang Bo, Sub-Division Chief for the City Bureau exit-entry administration summarized the work for 2017 for the foreign student entry and exit management of colleges and universities in Nanjing. Director Lin Yue of International Exchanges and Cooperation from the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education and Division Chief Yang Xingliang of the exit and entry administration from the provincial public security department delivered a speech respectively. Deputy Director Jiang Ping from the Nanjing municipal public security bureau made the deployment of the work for the foreign student entry and exit management at higher education institutions in Nanjing in 2018.
In recent years, our university has always attached great importance to the foreign students entry and exit management, paid attention to the quality control over the entire process from the pre-entrance of foreign students, to the entrance, to the study period at school, to the graduation and the post-graduation. We increasingly modify the rules and regulations, improve the quality of the cultivation of foreign students and the management level, and to serve the world first-class agricultural university development goal.
